Registration: Beit Sefer Phyllis Mintzer

Registration for 2021-2022 is open as of August 3

Beit Sefer Phyllis Mintzer is returning to in-person learning with an on-line option for students who live at a distance or prefer to wait until they are vaccinated before rejoining in-person learning.  Students must choose one of these options at the time of registration.  Students may shift from on-line to in-person (when they are ready) or in-person to on-line (because of a physical move or a COVID change) but they may not change from week to week.  We are committed to maintaining our on-line learning option for the entire school year.

Beit Sefer In-Person will meet on Saturday mornings from 9am until Noon. Our schedule is as follows:

9:00-9:10 Gathering Time
9:10-9:30 Opening Circle
9:30-10:30 Learning Hour One
10:30-10:45 Recess & Snack
10:45-11:45 Learning Hour Two
11:45-Noon Closing Circle

All people in the building during Beit Sefer will be masked at all times regardless of vaccination status.  Staff and teacher volunteers will all be vaccinated.  Safety precautions including maximizing ventilation, physical distancing, sanitizing, individualizing snacks will be observed according to SF Dept of Public Health recommendations.

Beit Sefer On-Line will meet on Saturday mornings from 9am until 10:30am on Zoom.  Our schedule is as follows:

9:00-9:10 Gathering Time on Zoom

9:30-10:30 Mixed Age Zoom Class

Beit Sefer begins on Saturday, October 2, 2021Our calendar is defined and evolving; family and holiday programs will be shaped and scheduled as our community makes its way through the reopening process.  We are committed to these Shabbat dates.

One-to-One Hebrew Tutoring is for students in grades 5-7.  Tutoring sessions are once/week for 45 minutes.  Sessions are scheduled according to student and tutor availability.  They may take place on-line or in-person based on family preference and tutor availability.  Hebrew tutoring begins the week of October 4.

Please register here by Friday, September 3

On-time registration supports a smooth start to the year for individuals and the community.  And new students are welcome anytime throughout the school year.
