50th Anniversary of Women Rabbis 50 years ago on this day, the first woman rabbi was ordained in the United States. Our guest darshanit will be Rabbi Patricia Karlin-Neumann, one of the earliest ordained women in the Reform movement, about this major transformation in Jewish life. She is recently retired from her longtime role as the first Jewish clergy person on Stanford’s Office of Religious Life staff.
