CSZ's neighborly Shabbat morning service is more like a minyan, a small community gathering. We sing, pray, read and discuss Torah together. And ask questions and share ideas in a spiritual and progressive celebration. No prior experience is necessary. Services begin at 10:00am and end at 11:30am. We would like our services to be accessible to those with chemical sensitivities and allergies, and therefore support a fragrance-free environment.

Join Jewish award winning writers and journalists Belo Miguel Cipriani and Shaar Zahav member, David-Elijah Nahmod, at Shaar Zahav they discuss their new book Firsts: Coming Of Age Stories By People With Disabilities. Cipriani edited the book and Nahmod contributed a chapter to it. The book is an anthology which collects some of the best voices by disabled writers.
